This medicine contains: 3.6 g sucrose, 2.6 g glucose, and 2.6 g fructose in each dose (10 ml). This should be taken into account in patients withdiabetes mellitus. If your doctor has told you that you (or your child) have an intolerance to some sugars, or if you have been diagnosed with hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) a rare genetic disorder in which a person cannot break down fructose talk to your doctor before you (or your child) take or receive this medicine. It may also be harmful to the teeth.
Carmoisine (E122), Sunset Yellow (E110), sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219) and sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed), e.g. itching, swelling of the tongue, lips, eyes, and hands, and wheeziness. If this happens, seek medical help immediately.
4.6% v/v ethanol (alcohol) or 198 mg per 10 ml dose, equivalent to 5 ml beer or 2 ml wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine will not have any noticeable effects if taken as recommended. This may be harmful for those suffering from alcoholism and should be considered if you have liver disease or epilepsy.
