Our Faster Healing Silicone Foam Dressing is designed to help protect and heal wounds comfortably. Especially helpful for people with delicate or fragile skin, as it reduces the risk of damage when changing dressings.

Features an absorbent central foam pad which expands to retain and manage excess fluid.

A protective, breathable outer film layer acts as a waterproof barrier against bacteria, keeping the wound clean.

And a gentle, perforated silicone contact layer sits against the skin, promoting fluid absorption as well as allowing for easy and painless removal.

How to use

• Carefully cleanse and dry the wound.
• Check that the wound pad overlaps the wound by at least two centimetres.
• Remove the sterile dressing from the pouch.
• Remove the large flap of the release liner to expose the adhesive portion of the dressing.
• Position into place while removing the smaller flap of the release liner of the dressing.
• Smooth down the outer edges of the dressing to ensure good adhesion.
• To remove the dressing, loosen the border before lifting the dressing away from the wound.

Hazards and Cautions

• Do not use on infected wounds unless under medical supervision.
• Reuse may lead to increased risk of infection or cross contamination.
• Do not use in conjunction with oxidising agents such hypochlorite solution or hydrogen peroxide, as these agents can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing.
• Do not use on those with a known sensitivity to silicone or polyurethane.
• Dispose of used or expired dressings in household waste.
