Boots Dual Action Carb & Fat Control is specially formulated to reduce the amount of complex carbohydrates, fats & sugar absorbed by the body.
The formula contains the active ingredient Omtec 50, which is a natural fibre that binds fats from foods within the stomach. It also contains Omtec XS extract which prevents the amount of complex carbohydrates digested and absorbed.
These two extracts work together to form a gel-like substance in the stomach which then mixes with food to remove carbohydrates, fats & sugars so they don’t enter the metabolism.

Suitable for
Boots Dual Action Carb & Fat Control is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is designed to be taken orally. Not suitable for babies or infants. Children and adolescents should use Boots Dual Action Carb and Fat Control only after consulting a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
How to use
Boots Dual Action Carb & Fat Control is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is designed to be taken orally. Check the foil is not broken before use. If it is, do not take the tablet. Tablets should not be removed from blisters until the time of usage. Boots Dual Action Carb and Fat Control is designed to be taken orally. Swallow the tablets with at least one glass (250ml) of water, one hour before each meal.

Hazards and Cautions
Before you take this product
Do not take:
- If you are hypersensitive or allergic to one of the ingredients
- If you suffer or have suffered from gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. acid reflux disease, gastritis, ventricular or duodenal ulcers, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis), signs of intestinal obstruction (impending or existing mechanical or paralytic ileus), gastroparesis in diabetics with neuropathy, intestinal polyps or existing severe digestive disorders (constipation)
- If you are taking Warfarin (blood thinner)
- If you are underweight (Body Mass Index (BMI)<18.5)
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- In the event of constipation or other side effects, you should immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor.

- before using Boots Dual Action Carb and Fat Control if you need to take medication at main meal times.
Do not take medicinal products (e.g. contraceptives), vitamins or essential fatty acids at the same time as Boots Dual Action Carb and Fat Control; Oral medication must be taken 1 hour before or 4 hours after using Boots Dual Action Carb and Fat Control.
Restrictions of use:
Do not use for longer than 30 days in one treatment period. Treatment can be resumed after 4 days.
