Wine of Rhone Valley, France. Suitable for Vegetarians. Blason du Rhône Châteauneuf-du-Pape is produced from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mouvèdre grapes and comes from old, low-yielding vines grown on sparse, boulder-covered soils around the ancient village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the southern Rhône Valley. It is rich and flavoursome, with a lovely smoothness, plenty of spicy fruit flavours, and displays a great deal of complexity. Already drinking well now, it will continue to develop well in bottle over the next few years.
