Black Cow's strawberry vodka is flavoured naturally by locally sourced fruit that would otherwise go to waste. Surrounding the Black Cow Distillery in West Dorset there are an abundance of locally grown strawberries, many of which are just a little too wonky for the table. Rather than them go to waste, Black Cow collects them up, press them down and macerates them in its Pure Milk Vodka. The result is a deliciously light vodka  with the unmistakable taste of freshly picked strawberries.    Not to mention far fewer wasted strawberries. Black Cow & English Strawberries  is flavoured entirely naturally by the fruit; there are no added sugar or sweeteners.  See recipes in the Usage section below.

Preparation and Usage

STRAWBERRY SPRITZ

Pour a 50ml measure of Black Cow & English Strawberries in a long glass, over ice. Top with soda water and stir. Garnish with fresh garden mint and a few strawberry slices.

 

STRAWBERRY MOJITO

Fill a long glass with 50ml Black Cow + English Strawberries vodka, 25ml fresh lime, several leaves of fresh mint. Crush the mint slightly then and stir in 15ml of a simple sugar syrup. Garnish with mint and fresh strawberries and top with soda water.  

 

STRAWBERRY AND GINGER COW  

Load a glass with ice. Add a measure of Black Cow & English Strawberries vodka, top with ginger ale and garnish with wheels of fresh lime.

Tall glass full of ice

50ml Black Cow Vodka + English Strawberries  

Top with Soda  

Garnish with fresh, seasonal fruit  

Strawberry Old Fashioned  

Muddle 1 brown sugar cube with peychauds bitters and crush into glass.  

Add 50ml Black Cow Vodka + English Strawberries  

Add soda and pepper to taste
