History: BiancaVigna was born from the passion for wine and for the territory of siblings Enrico and Elena Moschetta, passion inherited by their grandfather Genesio, who since the beginning of 1900s cultivated the vines in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area. The winery is located among the charming hills of Ogliano, in the heart of the DOCG Appellation, the places that give character to our wines and are part of our identity, and was built according to the CasaClimaWine sustainability protocol aiming to climate neutrality: attention to the environment and sustainability are in fact core values of BiancaVigna, which are embodied in the use of integrated pest management (SQNPI) in all vineyards and the management of an organic vineyard.
Regional information: The hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene land of Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. are the protagonists of the history of Prosecco. A place where unique vineyards are cultivated. We have learned to perceive and understand this land in order to highlight the different structures, minerality and characteristics of the vineyards in which we produce grapes. It is just the heroic outline of the hills of San Gallo vineyards to inspire BiancaVigna logo, a sign of a landscape always been part of our identity.
Tasting notes: On the nose, some lovely and pleasant alternation of floral and fruity notes of golden. On the palate, a great balance between the softness of the residual sugars and the fresh, vibrant acidity. Pleasant and persistent aftertaste apple and pear.
Serving suggestions: serve at 6-8 °C (43/47 °F) in tulip-shaped crystal glasses to fully appreciate its aromas and fine perlage
Vinification details: After a soft pressing of grapes, a static decantation, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (cuvée close) at temperature controlled with indigenous selected yeasts and lasts 90 days. Tartaric stabilization at low temperature.
