Safety WarningThis product is suitable for most people, but a few people should not use it. If you are in any doubt you should contact your doctor or pharmacist. Do not give your child this medicine if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your child has an intolerance to some sugars. This product contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes. Maltitol may have a mild laxative effect. Calorific value 2.3 kcal/g maltitol. This medicine contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per 5ml, that is to say essentially ‘sodium-free’. This medicine contains 10 mg sodium benzoate (E211) in each 5ml which is equivalent to 2mg/ml. This medicine contains 18.24 mg propylene glycol (E1520) in each 5ml which is equivalent to 3.65 mg/5ml. This medicine is unlikely to cause side-effects unless your child is allergic to the ingredients. If your child experiences any side-effects or you are not sure about anything, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. If anyone has taken too much of this product, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), taking the pack with you. If you forget a dose, give the next dose when needed. Do not give a double dose. Do not give this medicine after the expiry date shown on the bottle. Do not store above 25°C. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
