How to use
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Antiseptic wash of the patient: apply on wet skin, avoiding contact with eyes, ears and mouth. Apply enough quantity to spread evenly over the entire body surface. Let it act for 3 minutes to assure antiseptic absorption. Rinse off and dry (a disposable cloth can be used). Once the skin is clean, do not apply any other product (creams, lotions, etc.). Surgical antiseptic hand and forearm scrub for healthcare personnel: apply directly on pre-wet hands 5ml for 2 min, followed by another 5ml for 3 min. Rinse off and dry.
Hazards and Cautions
PRECAUTIONS: Refer to the instructions for use in order to avoid risks for people and the environment. Causes serious eye damage.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
External use, do not intake, do not inhale. Apply on healthy, clean and dry skin. Do not use on persons sensitive to its ingredients, nor in extensive areas of the skin or prolonged times nor with non breathable tissues. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous, sensitive or ill zones of the skin and wounds. May cause skin or allergic reactions. Avoid direct contact with nervous tissue, eye and middle ear. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. The product should only be used under medical prescription in children under 30 months. The use of aqueous or alcohol-based chlorhexidine skin solutions as a skin disinfectant has been associated with chemical burns in neonates. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep cool. Do not mix with other products. The product once opened is stable for 6 months.
IN CASE OF intoxication or accidental ingestion immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor and show him the label.
