Seven years of hard work, experimentation and dedication went into perfecting Aperol by the Barbieri brothers Luigi and Silvio with the drink launching in Italy in 1919. In the 1950’s the famous recipe that made Aperol Spritz so popular was born and is still enjoyed to this day.

Tasting Notes:

Zesty orange on the nose with complex herbaceous undertones. Intense orange hits the tongue with the herb notes coming through for a bittersweet experience and a long velvet finish. 

Recipe Suggestion: Aperol Spritz

  • 125ml Aperol
  • 125ml Prosecco
  • Soda to top
  • Orange slice to garnish

- Prepare a large wine glass with ice and combine Aperol with Prosecco in equal parts

- Top the glass with soda water and garnish with a slice of orange
