Pleats is a series of trays that exudes a subtle charm, reminiscent of the metal cap of a beer bottle. The pleated shape along the edge is a natural result of the inherent properties of the metal material. While honouring this inevitability, I explored the appropriate design expression to enhance its charm as a key design element.
