Also all Alara products are plastic free: the box is made from fully recyclable cardboard and the inner bag is home compostable.
The total embedded CO2e of this product is 105g per 100g. This carbon has been offset by donating to Rainforest Saver. Rainforest Saver promotes a farming technique consisting on planting a tree called Inga, which has been proved to capture an average amount of CO2e and offers an alternative to traditional practices that destroy the forest.
