Shawarma is a classic Middle Eastern dish of meat, usually chicken, marinated in a blend of herbs and spices, often cooked rotisserie style.
A classic Shawarma blend contains herbs and spices including cumin, cardamom, paprika and chilli amongst others, for a fantastically fragrant flavour with a little kick.
Simply marinate 450g of diced chicken breast or halloumi in the Shawarma kebab paste and either bake it in the oven or fry it on the hob.
Warm up some Al'Fez Middle Eastern Flatbreads and layer up with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato and the cooked chicken or halloumi and enjoy.
