Preparation and Usage How to use the ADAPTIL Dog On-The-Go Calming Collar

The collar should be fitted snugly on your dog's neck (alongside their existing collar) to ensure proper functioning:

• 1. After removing from the packaging, place a finger in the plastic loop situated on the inside of the collar close to the buckle
• 2. Use this loop pull to uncoil the collar
• 3. Feed the end through the buckle
• 4. Place over your dog's head
• 5. Tighten the collar to fit snugly on your dog's skin
• 6. You should be able to place no more than 2 fingers between the collar and your dog's skin
• 7. Ensure the collar is secure
• 8. Cut off any excess portion of the collar

When the ADAPTIL Dog Calming Collar comes in contact with the skin, your dog's body temperature warms the collar resulting in the diffusion of appeasing messages into the local environment. The collar should remain on your dog at all times (except when using shampoo)
