4 Easy and Delicious Cocktails to Make This Summer

Whether you are planning a summer party or just enjoy having a good cocktail night, here are four different recipes that only take a few ingredients and have the added bonus of tasting great.
Aperol Spritz
For the prosecco lovers, this recipe is an easy and fresh twist on the traditional beverage.
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. Prosecco
- 2 oz. Aperol
- 1 oz. soda water
- Orange slice for garnish (if desired)
Instructions:
Fill a wine glass with ice. Add in the prosecco, Aperol, and soda water. Stir gently and garnish with an orange slice.
Pina Colada
If you like getting caught in the rain, then this is the perfect drink for you. The fusion of rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream result in a sweet yet refreshing flavour.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. rum
- 2 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 oz. coconut cream
- Pineapple wedge for garnish (if desired)
Instructions: Add the rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream to a blender with ice. Blend it until it is smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Watermelon Martini
When you think of cocktails, martinis may not be the first one that springs to mind. But with this fun, fruity twist, you may find that it can quickly become a favourite.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. watermelon juice
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- Watermelon slice for garnish (if desired)
Instructions: Add the vodka, watermelon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake until the tumbler is chilled and then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a watermelon slice.
Strawberry Lemonade Vodka Cocktail
If vodka is your poison of choice, then this drink will tickle your taste buds. Elevate your favourite summer drink with this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. strawberry syrup
- Club soda
- Strawberry slice for garnish (if desired)
Instructions: Add the vodka, lemon juice, and strawberry syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake until the tumbler chilled and then strain into a glass filled with ice. Then top it off with club soda and garnish with a strawberry slice.
