Against a landscape created by thousands of years of history, Sicily's sun produces grapes with extraordinary characteristics. A clayey, moderately chalky soil; espalier training system; small drip irrigation; and manual pruning and thinning turn every bunch of Terrelaade grapes into a masterpiece

Vinification Details
Nero d'Avola is undoubtedly known for its power and opulence but it is also a variety of great sensibility. After pressing and destemming, the grapes are macerated at 29°C for 10 to 12 days. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 10 months partly in second or third pass French oak casks to encourage micro-oxygenation and partly in steel to bring out its characteristic freshness and fruitiness
