Started by twins Ben and Dan Ritsema, Cranes was named for the fact that cranberries were originally called crane-berries, as the flower of the cranberry resembled a cranes head and bill. 

Made from all natural ingredients and using no added sugars or artificial flavours, Cranes Cranberry Gin is handcrafted in Cambridgeshire in small batches. The premium cranberries used to produce this gin compliment the juniper berries and produce an award winning, smooth and fruity gin that is delightfully sharp.

Tasting Notes:

Sharp zingy cranberries take centre stage but are joined by juniper in the spotlight. Fruity and brilliantly sharp with light notes of citrus. 

Recipe Suggestion: The Blushing Lady

• 50ml Cranes Cranberry Gin
• 25ml Cointreau
• 25ml fresh squeezed lemon juice
• 1tsp simple syrup
• Twist of lemon and 3 cranberries skewered on a cocktail stick to garnish

- Add Cranes Cranberry Gin, Cointreau, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously

- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a twist of lemon and the skewered cranberries
