For our recipe you will need ...
1 sachet Schwartz Chicken Casserole Recipe Mix
1 tbs oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
4 skinless chicken breast
300ml (1/2 pint) water
Directions ...
1. Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2. Heat oil, soften onion and carrots. Add chicken and brown for 2 - 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a casserole dish.
3. Mix sachet contents with water and add to casserole dish. Cover and cook for 1 hour.
4. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes.
Hints & Tips ...
Try replacing the onions with sliced leeks. Alternatively replace the onion and carrots with sliced red peppers and a couple of quartered tomatoes.
