Always wash hands before and after treating a wound • Gently cleanse and dry the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly • Peel open the dressing wrapper and remove the backing papers from the dressing • Do not touch the adhesive surface • Place the dressing centrally over the affected area • Press down the edges firmly • Remove top wrappers as directed by arrows. • The longer the dressing remains in place, the more effective it will be • Do not remove the dressing until it becomes loose • The dressing will loosen naturally when it requires removal or replacement • Replace as required • If the wound continues to bleed or becomes swollen, reddened or painful, seek medical advice.
