Engineered and made in France with a water-based finish, the mills are adjustable with six settings from extra fine to very coarse, according to the type of grind you need for cooking and seasoning.

The two-stage grinding mechanism effortlessly shatters then grinds the dry salt crystals or peppercorns to the desired grain size. Salt intensifies aromas, balances other flavours and makes vegetables tastier. Choose very finely ground pepper to bring out its spice when cooking, or a coarser grind to highlight its aromas, flavour and texture, for example when adding to a salad. The gear mechanisms are made of durable stainless steel that is treated to prevent corrosion and rust, and guaranteed for lifetime longevity.

The mills come either partially filled for immediate enjoyment or with a sample sachet. The Tan Hoi black pepper from Vietnam has warm woody tones. To refill, simply unscrew the top knob, lift off the top and pour in your salt or peppercorns. Use only dry rock salt, to a maximum size of 4mm. For peppercorns, the maximum size is 6mm.
