History: Every one of our authentic, provincial wines has been crafted by regional winemakers, often with generations of the same family working together to capture the essence and character of their homeland in every bottle. Fête des Flaveurs wines are inspired by France's regional food markets; packed with colours, scents, flavours and cultures. Every bottle is a map of its unique climate, vineyard and grower, all of which come together to craft a unique, delicious wine from some of France's most famous regions
Regional information: The Loire Valley wine region, affectionately known as the ‘Garden of France', is famous across the world for its scenic rolling hills, historic turreted chateaux, and - of course - its delicious wines. The valley winds its way 300 miles up the Loire River, passing through the sub-regions of Pays Nantais, Anjou-Saumur, Upper Loire and Touraine as it goes. Each boast a wide variety of landscapes, soil types and microclimates - all of which produce unique and distinct wines.
Vinification: Early morning harvest for cool temperatures. Direct crushing to prevent colour extraction. Alcoholic fermentation at 15°C to maximise aromas synthesis by the yeast. Ageing on fine lees to protect the wine from oxidation.
