Small batches, a sustainable approach and work done by hand – that’s the ethos that underpins the boutique Peccavi vineyard in Western Australia. For the Estate Merlot, grapes are picked and plunged by hand before maturing in the finest French oak barrels; the resulting red, rich and ripe, is medium-bodied with a silky texture and notes of plums, berries and earthy herbs on the palate – a testament to truly exceptional craftsmanship.
