Preparation and Usage
There's lots of great ways to enjoy your dates...
Mixed into porridge, added to cous cous salad and baked in sticky toffee pudding

Baked Date Rice Pudding
Serves 4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 3/4-2hours

Ingredients
65g pudding rice
600ml milk
125 single cream
25g sugar
50g Whitworths dates, chopped roughly

How to make
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to Gas 2, 150C. Greese a 900ml (1 1/2 pint) ovenproof dish.
Step 2 - Mix the rice, milk, cream, sugar and dates and pour into the dish.
Step 3 - Cook in the oven for 1 3/4- 2hours until the rice is tender, stirring after the first 30 minutes.
