Bibbiano is located in the historic area of Chianti overlooking Val d'Elsa. The Marrocchesi Marzi family have cultivated vineyards and olive trees in this area since 1865 and the operation is now run by the fifth generation - Tommaso and Federico. They farm 30 hectares on hill slopes with enviable sun exposure and clay and limestone soils. Grapes are hand harvested and individual crus are vinified separately each year in order to create true expressions of the land with a real sense of place.
