Preparation and Usage
How to Use: Shake well before opening. Add towards the end of cooking, as you would fresh herbs.
Recipes
CRISPY TOFU & GINGER STIR FRY
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
Serves 2
225g pack smoked tofu
1 tbsp. corn flour
1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
125g medium egg noodles
1 red pepper, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
2 tsp Tarantella Liquid Ginger
1 tsp Tarantella Liquid Garlic
1 tsp Tarantella Liquid Chilli
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
100g beansprouts
Drain the tofu and pat dry with kitchen paper before cutting into cubes. Toss in the corn flour. Heat half the oil in a large frying pan and fry the tofu for 5 minutes turning occasionally until golden and crispy. Drain on kitchen paper and set aside.
Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to pack instructions and drain.
Add the pepper and onion to the same frying pan with remaining oil and fry for 4-5 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the tofu and noodles to serve.
Cooks tip
Swap the vegetables for any stir fry vegetables of your choice, great for using up leftovers in the fridge. Swap the egg noodles for rice noodles for a vegan option.
