This rare, limited release single malt is believed to be the earliest Japanese whisky ever bottled – it’s the only one to be released by Shirakawa distillery, and is distributed by fellow esteemed House, Tomatin. But how does a 1958 vintage taste? Well, apple and lime curd are balanced by soft marzipan and white chocolate, paving the way for a spicy, smoky finish.
