Preparation and Usage
Just Add:
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 175g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbs tomato pure
- 300ml cold water
3 Easy Steps...
1 Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2 Heat oil and soften onion for 5 mins, or until golden brown. Add chicken and brown on both sides. Transfer to casserole dish and stir in mushrooms.
3 Mix seasoning with tomato pure and water, stir into casserole dish. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour, until tender and cooked through.
Try Something Different: Ideal with crispy roast potatoes and steamed broccoli. Make herby dumplings with Schwartz Mixed Herbs and add to the casserole about half an hour before the end of cooking.
Instructions
Cooking Instructions - General. 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2. Heat the oil and brown the chicken and onion in a frying pan. Transfer to a casserole dish.
3. Blend the packet contents into the water and add to the casserole dish with the mushrooms.
4. Cover and cook for 1 hour or until tender.
5. Serve with buttery baked potatoes.

1 tbs oil
1 onion, diced

175g (6oz) mushrooms, sliced
1 tbs tomato pure
300ml (1/2 pint) cold water
Directions...
1. Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2. Heat oil and soften onion. Add chicken and brown on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a casserole dish and add mushrooms.
3. Mix sachet contents and tomato pure with water and add to casserole dish. Cover and cook for 1 hour.
4. Serve with baked potatoes.
Hints & Tips...
Why not try adding herb dumplings about 40 minutes before the end of cooking.
