History
Santa Carolina, founded in 1875 and currently owned by the Larrain family, proudly champions Chilean Heritage with a focus on innovation. Through the journey of the valleys, Santa Carolina respects each varietal's typicity and treasures the expression of fruit. The estates, owned and managed by Santa Carolina, are located in Maipo, Rapel, Leyda, Casablanca and Colchagua.

Regional Information
This valley is located in the winemaking region of the Central Valley. Its vineyards are mostly between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level. The diversity of microclimates allows us to grow many different varieties.

Current Vintage
2020

Vinification Details
Hand-harvested grapes. Cold maceration. Traditional fermentation at controlled temperatures (28°C / 82 °F) in cement tanks. 10% gets post-fermentation maceration. 40% gets malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The blend has 8 months of French and American oak barrels and it is bottled one year later.
