Preparation and Safety

Method
Before cooking
1.     Prepare 400g of vegetables by blanching. Pat dry to remove excess water
2.     Add 180ml ice cold sparkling water to 128g Tempura Mix and whisk to form a smooth paste.
3.    Dip the vegetables into the batter mix until evenly coated.
4.    Into a frying pan or wok add enough oil to cover the vegetables and heat on a moderate tempurature. 
During Cooking
1.     Fry the coated vegetables in oil for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
After cooking
1.     Drain on a wire rack with kitchen roll beneath. 
Recipe suggestion
1.     Serve with a wedge of fresh lime and soy sauce. Check the food is piping hot.
