Suitable for Vegans
Grape: Braucol, Syrah, Merlot, Duras, Cabernet Sauvignon
Style: Fruity & smooth
Taste: Rich and spicy with black berry flavours
With: Grilled red meat & creamy pasta dishes
This deeply-coloured, fruity and smooth red is beautifully perfumed and packed full of bold flavours - juicy blackberry, rich cassis and a lovely peppery spice.
Gaillac is one of the oldest wine regions with evidence of winemaking dating back to pre-Roman times. Located just north-east of Toulouse in South West France, its hot, sunny Mediterranean climate is tempered by cooling Atlantic influences, making it perfect for growing grapes. This red is a blend of 5 grape varieties, including 2 which are indigenous to the region, Braucol and Duras. This elegant red makes a great match for chargrilled red meats, stews and sausages.
