Preparation and Safety

Cook on the hob from chilled but can also be microwaved.

 

Cooking instructions: Boil

To cook on the hob from chilled. Before cooking: Remove outer packaging and place unopened pouch or pouches in a saucepan of boiling water. During cooking: Return to the boil and simmer gently for 4 minutes (one pouch) or 5 minutes (two pouches). After cooking: Gently shake the pouch before carefully cutting open with scissors to serve. Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

 

Cooking instructions: Microwave

Microwave from chilled. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and open pouch or pouches. Empty contents into a microwaveable dish. Cover with a lid. During cooking: Stir halfway through. Re-cover and continue cooking. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. ONE x 250g POUCH: Microwave on full power. Cat D - 750w. 2½ mins. Cat E - 850w. 2½ mins. TWO x 250g POUCHES: Microwave on full power. Cat D - 750w. 4 mins. Cat E - 850w. 4 mins.
