Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Oven

Oven Cook from chilled only. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Heat 15ml of oil over a high heat in a frying pan. Carefully add the diced thigh and seal on all sides to lock in moisture. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. During Cooking: Transfer the thigh pieces into an ovenproof dish and cook in the oven for a further 30 minutes. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Oven Cook from chilled only. 190��C/Fan 70°C/Gas 5 35 mins

Warnings:

Cook raw poultry thoroughly until it is piping hot throughout and no pink colour remains.

Don't wash raw poultry. Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils for raw poultry and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly in between use. Wash hands after handling raw poultry.
