Microwave but can also be cooked on the hob.
Before cooking: Place 50g of oats in a microwaveable bowl and stir in 250ml of water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk or milk free alternative.
During cooking: Stir halfway through.
After cooking: Stir thoroughly. Add sugar or salt to taste. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled.
