From the chalky soils of the beautiful Loire Valley, this elegant sparkling wine is made by Mlle Ladubay, a winery founded in 1851. The soft 'tuffeau' stone of the region has been excavated to create miles of cellars, perfect for ageing this elegant wine.

History: Founded in 1851 , Mlle Ladubay is today the 1st Producer of Methode traditionnelle Sparkling Wine in Saumur Ladubay selects its grapes from about 100 growers around Saumur , totalling 700 ha of vineyards and the same family of winemakers has been blending the cuvees for 90 years. Made predominantly from Chenin, the wines from Bouvet Ladubay are known for their consistency, elegance and purity.
Regional information: Saumur is a commune in the Maine-et-Loire department in western France.
Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested and full bunches are pressed. Fermented at 20 degrees C for 10 days and then kept on lees for 18 months.
It is recommended that this wine be consumed within 1 year of purchase.
