Roasting bags are suitable for cooking meat, fish and vegetables. By using these bags it will retain the moisture and flavour of the food whilst keeping your roasting tray and oven clean. 

How to use: 

Conventional Ovens 

1) Preheat the oven to required temperature (image-A picture of an oven showing the temperature 200oc gas mark 6)  

2) Sprinkle a teaspoon of flour into the bag and shake (image-Picture of a teaspoon of flour being sprinkled into a bag and motion arrows showing the bag being shaken) 

3) Place the seasoned meat, fish or vegetables into the bag and tie loosely with one of the ties provided. (image-show joint of meat in a bag horzontal with one of the ties tied around the neck of the bag) 

4) Place in a deep roasting tray and make slits in the top of the bag and cook for the required time. (image-show bag with joint of meat in tied with a plastic closure in a roasting tray with a knife cutting slits into the top of the bag)

Cooking times can be varied according to individual preferences and differences between appliances. 

Microwave Ovens 

1) Sprinkle a teaspoon of flour into the bag and shake (image-picture of a teaspoon of flour being sprinkled into a bag and motion arrows showing the bag being shaken (Can use the same image as above)) 

2) Place the seasoned meat, fish or vegetables into the bag and tie loosely with one of the ties provided (image-show joint of meat in a bag with one of the ties tied around the neck of the bag (Can use the same image as above)) 

3) Place on a microwaveable dish and make slits in the top of the bag and cook for the required time. (image-show bag with joint of meat in tied with a plastic closure in a roasting tray with a knife cutting slits into the top of the bag Although its going into a microwaveable dish you could use the same image as above) 

When using a microwave 

Plated meals and non-metallic containers can be placed in the bag to prevent splattering and retain moisture. 

Not recommended for use in browning dishes.
