History
In 1789, the revolution causes the fragmentation of the property. In the 1800s, the estate belonged to the Allaman family who sold it in 1855 to Anne Leclerc de Juigne de Lassigny. In 1955, Chateau Roubine was one of the 23 wineries recognized by decree as "Cru Classe" of the Cotes de Provence.

Regional Information
Appellation Cotes de Provence Controlee. The vineyard of Chateau Roubine, bordered by a cirque of pines and oaks, located in one piece in the heart of the Var between Verdon and the Mediterranean, offers by the great diversity of its thirteen grape varieties, its natural drainage ("roubine" means "Stream"in Provencal), by its ideal east / west orientation, by its clay-limestone soil, the conditions favoured for the production of high quality wines.
