Piccini has a winemaking tradition since 1882. Mario and Martina, the 4th generation.
- Mario, I need to make a sauce to go with my slow cooked wild boar. Do you have any Chianti that I could use?
- Martina, I know you have a taste for finer things, but really you should drink the wine and eat the boar.

Regional information: Chianti is one of the best known Italian regions producing distinctive red wines with fresh cherry fruit flavours and smooth tannins. The landscape and climate are characteristic of Tuscany with rolling hills with warm sunshine tempered by incoming sea breezes
Vinification: The best Sangiovese grapes are selected for Piccini Chianti Riserva. The grapes undergo soft pressing before being processed using the traditional method on the skins. They are fermented at controlled temperatures with a long maceration period to extract maximum fruit and balanced tannins. The wine spends 9 months in large oak barrels before release
