Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate once opened and consume within 90 days.
Preparation and Usage
Sift heaped teaspoon of matcha into a bowl or wide-mouthed mug. Add a few drops of hot not boiling water (80C or less) and mix to create a paste. Fill with more hot water and whisk until frothy and smooth.
Top Tips
Always use a tea strainer! Quality matcha is an ultra-fine microscopic powder meaning it easily becomes electrostatically charged and forms lumps, this is why the strainer is such an important tool in the preparation of the perfect cup of matcha.
If you dont have a temperature control kettle, let it boil and then let it sit 10 minutes before preparing.
