Dried plums with flashes of violet on the nose with a hint of toast and coconut aromas. The palate is full bodied, elegant and showing ripe tannins with a long fruity finish.

History
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ferrer family began producing sparkling wine using the method perfected by the Champagne winemakers. Named after their 13th century family home, Freixenet derives from ''La Freixeneda'', meaning ''a place where ash trees grow'' in Catalan. 150 years of successful wine-making, Freixenet is a leading player in the international wine trade

Nauta wines are made from Old vine Monastrell (40 years), each vines produce 2kg of fruit with a yield of 3,500 kg/ha and achieving a high concentration of fruit.
