Regional Information
The Barossa Valley is arguably Australia's most famed region, known for its Mediterranean climate which produces excellent full-bodied red wines, particularly Shiraz. The soils here are a mix of low-fertility clay loam through to more sandy soils, ranging through grey-brown to the picturesque red.

Vinification Details
Fruit is carefully selected from vineyards in the Southern Lyndoch sub region and Lower Barossa Hills, fermented in traditional ten tonne open top vats for 7-10 days before secondary fermentation and maturation in a blend of new and older American and French oak Hogsheads.
