History
Co-founders Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn planted their first vineyards in 2002 on the beautiful Hush Heath Estate, and when Balfour Brut Ros 2004 became the first English wine to win a Trophy, at the International Wine Challenge in 2008, Balfour was on the wine map.
Regional Information
Each of Balfour's vineyards has been carefully chosen and planted to complement our winemaking philosophy. Located on either clay, chalk or greensand each vineyard is an expression of its unique terroir.
