History: According to the legend, a young English soldier was looked after by a French priest during the Hundred Years War. This priest made him try a sparkling wine that he had made himself and he described "Vallon Luit" (how the valley of his vineyard gleamed). The soldier came back to England talking about this “Luit Vallon”, which became “Louis Vallon”.
Regional information: This wine comes from the region of Bordeaux, located in the Southwest of France and is made using the traditional method.
Vinification: Louis Vallon Blanc de Noirs is produced according to very strict rules, in line with the Crémant de Bordeaux specifications. The grapes are hand-harvested, vinified in the traditional way and carefully blended together prior to the second fermentation taking place in the bottle to create delicate and refreshing bubbles. This last process is called “Méthode Traditionelle”. It takes a minimum of 12 months, during which our Crémant develops delicious aromas of summer fruits and notes of brioche.
