Levonelle One Step is an emergency contraceptive that can be used within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex or if your usual contraceptive method has failed.

Each pack of Levonelle One Step contains a complete treatment which is one round, white tablet.
•Levonelle is for occasional use only. It should in no instance replace a regular contraceptive method. In any case, women should be advised to adopt a regular method of contraception.
•Levonelle One Step is not recommended for patients who are at risk of ectopic pregnancy.
•Severe malabsorption syndromes, such as Crohn's disease, might impair the efficacy of Levonelle One Step.
•After Levonelle One Step intake, menstrual periods are usually normal and occur at the expected date. They can sometimes occur earlier or later than expected by a few days.
•In case the next menstrual period is more than 7 days late, if the menstrual period is abnormal in character or if there are symptoms suggestive of pregnancy or in case of doubt, a pregnancy test should be performed.
•This medicine contains lactose. If you have been previously told by your doctor that you are intolerant to some sugars, seek medical advice prior to taking this medicine.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
•Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction.
•If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking.
•If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist.
Active ingredient: levonorgestrel 1500mcg.
Other ingredients are potato starch, maize starch, colloidal silica anhydrous, magnesium stearate (E572), talc (E533b), lactose monohydrate.
Women aged 16 years and older, take one tablet as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.
If vomiting occurs within three hours of taking the tablet another tablet should be taken immediately.
