The Carneros AVA (American Viticultural Area) is located in Southern Napa Valley and Sonoma County near the bay. It was the first wine region in California to be defined by climate. The cool winds and almost-daily cool fog combine to make this the top region for the production of Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe cherry and rhubarb counter balanced by darker, black fruit and forest floor notes from the western slopes. This is a classic Carneros Pinot Noir displaying rich aromas and complex flavours woven together with a hint of spice from French oak barrels.
