History
The Bichot Family started a relationship with the House of Jean Bouchard in 1926, going on to purchasing the House in 1955 and in the time that has followed their wines have gone from strength to strength.
Regional Information
Savigny-Les-Beaune is an old, typically Burgundian winegrowing village located a just stones throw north of Beaune.
The soil is gravelly and composed of calcareous clay. The vines grow on slopes that face east/southeast.

Vinification Details
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled open vats (28/30C) with regular punching of the cap followed by 12 to 14 months ageing in oak barrels with at most 15% new oak.
