The nose is redolent of peach, apricot, redcurrant and white blossom aromas with a touch of lemon. This wine is full-bodied with good depth and a lovely length.
History
The Bichot Family started a relationship with the House of Jean Bouchard in 1926, going on to purchasing the House in 1955 and in the time that has followed their wines have gone from strength to strength.
Regional Information
Located between the Cte Chalonnaise and the Rock of Solutr, the hills of the Mconnais region stretch across approximately 40 kilometres and are bordered by the Sane and Grosne rivers in southern Burgundy. The soil is composed of marl and sandstone overlying limestone substratum, which tends to lend minerality to the wines from this appellation

Vinification Details
Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled tanks at 20C. Aged on the lees and stirred in oak barrels (25 to 30% new oak) for 12 to 14 months.
