Our Aloxe-Corton develops aromas with a dominant of wild woodland fruit (redcurrant and blackberry with floral nuances (lilies and jasmine). With a very supple tannic structure, this well-balanced wine has lovely pleasant velvety tannins with just a hint of sweetness. The finish is long and aromatic, reminiscent of the fruity aromas of the nose.'

The Bichot Family started a relationship with the House of Jean Bouchard in 1926, going on to purchasing the House in 1955 and in the time that has followed their wines have gone from strength to strength.

Linking the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune, Aloxe-Corton is a famed village at the northern extremity of the Cote de Beaune whose hill marks a dramatic change in the landscape.

Vinification Details
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled open vats (28/30°C) with regular punching of the cap followed by 14 to 16 months ageing in oak barrels with at most 15% new oak.
