Harvey Nichols Malbec 2019 - Argentinian Red Wine

The image on the front label of Harvey Nichols Malbec is the Andean Condor – a national symbol of Argentina – which is native to the mountains that cloak the Valle de Uco where this wine is produced. Using select parcels of Malbec, the grapes are hand harvested from ten to twenty year old vines situated at a cool climate elevation of 1,100m. The resulting Harvey Nichols wine is aged for three months in new French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered. Intense ruby in colour, this wine offers pronounced aromas of violets, red cherry and vanilla. Soft and juicy on the palate with flavours of ripe berries, cocoa and mixed spice, it is finely balanced, culminating in a long, rounded finish. A stunning example of Argentina's flagship grape, this is perfect with local empanada, red meat dishes and cheeses.
