This versatile marinade is made with paprika, roast cumin, mint and ginger, blended with aromatic herbs and spices, zesty lemon juice and mango and an added chilli kick.Ideal for BBQs, grills and ovens alike, use as a marinade or rub for meat, fish, paneer, tofu or vegetables. Try Geeta's Top Tip and use it to add zing to chicken, before garnishing with chopped red onion, lemon wedges, fresh coriander and mint leaves. Alternatively, use as a base for a delicious curry dish.Geeta's Searing Tandoori Marinade is gluten free, has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society approved.

Preparation and Usage
Creates a delicious North Indian dish from Punjab, which is simple and easy to prepare. Just follow my shopping list and recipe using your favourite meat, king prawn or paneer. Enjoy the aromatic delights of roasted cumin, ginger and cardamom, precisely ground in perfect measure for 4 tasty servings.Shopping List (serves 4):4 tbsp vegetable oil4 tbsp natural yoghurt*1 tbsp concentrated tomato pureeJuice of 1/2 a lemon (optional) *Or plant-based alternativeCooking Instructions:- Mix the marinade ingredients above with the contents of this pack in a bowl (mix only with oil when using as a rub)- Coat meat, fish, paneer, tofu or vegetables with the mixture and marinade for at least 10 minutes*- Turn the ingredients onto an ovenproof tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 ºC / 180 ºC Fan / Gas Mark 6, turning occasionally. Alternatively, cook under the grill or on the BBQ* For best results when using meat, cover and leave overnight in the fridgeTandoori Marinade must be cooked before consumption.

Shopping List (Serves 4)4 chicken breasts, cut into goujons4 tbsp vegetable oil4 tbsp natural yoghurt1 tbsp concentrated tomato puree1 lemonRed onion, cut into rings for garnishGeeta's Tip: For a delicious vegetarian option use potatoes to make tasty Tandoori potato wedges.Cooking InstructionsExtra juice from half the lemon and cut remaining half into wedges.Stir spice mix into yoghurt with oil, tomato puree and lemon juice.Add chicken pieces and marinade for 2 hours or preferably overnight.Place on ovenproof tray and cover with excess marinade.Oven cook, grill or barbecue for 15-20mins, turning occasionally.Garnish with red onion rings and lemon wedges.
