Moscato - Rose Spanish WineI love living in Barcelona and feel the city's passion, spontaneity and joy of life really influence my wine-making. That's why I have created this temptingly delicate and sweet Spanish sparkler. Made with aromatic, sweet grapes, I think Mia Moscato truly captures the liveliness and sparkle of my home town, Barcelona. I hope you'll enjoy it. Salud!

Storage

Sparkling wines and Champagne should always be stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources. The ideal temperature for storage is 13-15 degrees C.    

Warning: Sparkling wines contain high natural pressure. Do not allow bottles to get warm. Chill bottle before opening and avoid shaking. Point bottle away from others and yourself when removing wire, hood and cork. Hold the cork firmly and twist out slowly by hand. Never in any circumstances use a corkscrew to open.

Mia Sparkling is made by winemaker Gloria Collell, whose winemaking expertise has developed over many years working with the Ferrer family at Freixenet in Spain. Freixenet have been successfully making wine for over 150 years.

Vinification Details
Using the tank method of sparkling winemaking, alcoholic fermentation starts slowly in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures, until around 5.5% alcohol is reached. The tanks are then sealed and second slower fermentation takes place at a lower temperature
