This Petit Chablis reveals itself under a clear and bright gold colour sprinkled by emerald reflections. At the nose, a hawthorn and acacia bouquet rises embellished by grapefruit notes On the palate, white peach aromas are brighten up, offering a nice liveliness. History
Prestigious Burgundy estate, Maison Francois Martenot benefits of an excellent fame thanks to its strong know-how and its long history. Francois Martenot which is located in the heart of the Burgundy region exists since the 19th century, and was famous under the name of Clos de Vougeot, property of Leonce Bocquet. The most charismatic member of the family served for Napoleon.

Regional Information
Located in northern Burgundy near Auxerre, the Chablis vineyards are alongside a small river aptly named: the Serein ("Serene").

2016

Vinification Details
Mechanical harvest. Traditional vinification. The grapes are pressed on arrival at the winery using pneumatic presses. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks thermo-regulated at 16°C. The wines are aged on fine lees for 9 months in stainless steel.
